Peanut Butter Freezer Bars

For the crust, add 1 cup dates, 1 cup walnuts, and 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup to a food processor. Process until the mixture is well combined and sticky. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a bread dish, then place it in the freezer to chill.

For the peanut butter layer, combine 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter or almond butter, 1/3 cup coconut oil, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and 2 scoops (optional) of collagen in a bowl. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly on top of the chilled crust layer in the bread dish.

Return the dish to the freezer and let it sit for a couple of hours, or until firm. Once set, cut into bars and serve. Store any remaining bars in the freezer.
